Our mission and vision
Children's Community Health Plan, owned and managed by Children's Hospital and Health System, is an HMO dedicated to providing access to the highest quality health care and services to BadgerCare Plus customers. With the combined resources of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, Children's Service Society of Wisconsin, Children's Medical Group and our community partners, we are committed to improving the medical and social well being of our members and the community.
Children's Community Health Plan is a member of the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) which is a national trade association representing 41 nonprofit safety net health plans in 23 states. ACAP's mission is to represent and strengthen not-for-profit, safety net health plans as they work in their communities to improve the health and well being of vulnerable populations. Collectively, ACAP plans serve over 5.6 million enrollees, over 50 percent of individuals enrolled in Medicaid-focused health plans.
