Pharmacy benefits
Effective Feb. 1, 2008, your pharmacy benefits will no longer be provided by Children's Community Health Plan. They will be provided by the state BadgerCare Plus program. Most members will not be affected by these changes. However, by April 2, 2008, you may need prior approval for a drug you currently take. The drugs that require prior approval by BadgerCare Plus may be different than the drugs that required prior approval by Children's Community Health Plan. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this or call BadgerCare Plus Member Services at (800) 362-3002. Your doctor or pharmacist can help you with prior approval. Your doctor or pharmacist also may help you change to a similar drug that does not require prior approval.
